Workshops
Embodied Skills in Clinical Practice (CPD)
Expand your toolkit and discover new ways to connect with your clients by using a creative approach to nonverbal communication! The interactive sessions will focus on nonverbal empathy, spatial awareness and movement-based stress management techniques you can use to engage with hard-to-reach clients and enhance interactions in the workplace. Drawing upon cutting-edge research in dance movement psychotherapy, you will practice innovative techniques that are accessible, affirmative and inclusive.
Self Care Suite
(Staff Teams)
Take a short ‘you time’ break during your day to energise and unwind with a quick activity led live by a movement specialist. Shake off the day, re-energise and decompress by carving out some time to move and get rid of stress. You will be able reflect on how we can nurture and replenish ourselves, enjoy connecting with others in person, and re-engage with play and creativity. We will be working on different self-care themes focused and tailored to palliative care staff.
Self Care Saturdays
